What is a ruana wrap? A ruana is like a blanket with a slit in the middle for wearing as an oversized shawl.

The gansey is a seaman's knitted woollen sweater. Originally it was a garment forfishermenwho needed a warm, hard wearing, comfortable sweater that would resist the rain and oceanspray.
This cardigan is knit with Hue & Me yarn.
This is a Cocoon Cardigan. Like the hug of a blanket, this shrug-style cardigan comfortably drapes over your shoulders for that extra bit of warmth.
