My Projects Sweaters, Scarves etc...

Sweaters date back to the 15th century. Fishermen’s wives from Guernsey, in the Channel Islands between Britain and France, knitted “guernseys” for their husbands. The guernsey was adopted by other coastal communities in the British Isles and the North Sea and was later called a “gansey.” The gansey was knit from wool and featured a short collar and easily re-knitted cuffs. Later, these warm garments would be known as sweaters.

2. Cotton:
Cotton is a lightweight, breathable fiber that is often used for knitting summer garments and accessories. It is also easy to care for and can be machine-washed.
3. Acrylic:
Acrylic is a synthetic fiber that is often used for knitting yarns because it is affordable, durable, and comes in a wide range of colors. It is also machine-washable and can be a good choice for people with wool allergies.
4. Silk:
